Ania Telfer

Ania Telfer is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and specializes in trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy, integrating experiential, somatic, and expressive arts approaches with neuroscience, attachment theory, and mindfulness. Her practice supports clients in navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges, fostering deep healing and personal transformation. She brings over two decades of arts-based learning experience and a deep understanding of research to her therapeutic work, using creative modalities to promote emotional resilience and well-being. Ania’s graduate research focused on military war trauma and how arts can support healing.

 Ania has lived, worked, and traveled across Europe and Asia, speaks several languages, and loves learning about different cultures. She loves water and horses and is currently involved in training a very cute service dog.

 Clients: Ania sees children, youth, couples, and adults experiencing trauma, veteran and first responder related challenges, anxiety, grief, childhood issues, addictions, life transitions, and emotional regulation.

 Insurance: Ania is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and sessions are eligible for coverage under most extended health insurance plans in Canada. Please check with your provider to confirm your specific coverage.
